A Message From Our President
Building a Stronger, Brighter Future for Bangladesh's Jewellery Trade.
Jewellery is one of the oldest and most prestigious industries of the subcontinent. From the era of kings and nawabs to modern Bangladesh, gold ornaments have carried our heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural identity. The creations of our skilled goldsmiths are admired across the country and have earned recognition beyond our borders.
Today, to thrive in a competitive world shaped by globalization and free trade, we must strengthen our readiness for international markets. Sustainable growth comes when an industry expands beyond its domestic boundaries. BAJUS can play a decisive role in elevating Bangladeshi jewellery by improving standards, strengthening compliance and credibility, investing in skill development, and opening pathways for export. Preferential market access in key regions, including Europe, can be an important opportunity, if we prepare with unity and professionalism.
"Integrated, active organizational work is the lifeblood of any association. With that belief, BAJUS will continue to build a stronger national platform—fostering unity, trust, discipline, and cooperation among all stakeholders, while protecting our heritage and supporting modernisation."
