About This Course
Master the ancient techniques of fine wire ornament creation, gold engraving, and gem setting. This course preserves traditional Bengali gold craftsmanship and hand tools operations. Students will craft complete rings, necklaces, and bangles as final showcase projects.
Course Syllabus & Modules
Wire Drawing & Alloy Blending
Drawing fine gold and silver wires using draw-plates, welding ratios, metal bending, and charcoal flame control.
Ornamental Filigree Solder Patterns
Crafting border frames, filling frames with delicate wire scrolls, and utilizing traditional soldering fluxes.
Final Polish & Gem Setting
Hand engraving highlights, stone mounting, acid wash baths, and gold-dust recycling practices.
